Kayson Thinners and Chemicals (Kayson Paints) of Village Chandersain - Kangniwal, Old Hoshiarpur Road, Jalandhar - 144025, Punjab, India (“we”, “us”) decides how the personal data described here is used. This policy covers this website, our enquiry forms on Facebook and Instagram, and Kayson Connect, the system our staff and dealers use to manage enquiries, dealer accounts and orders.

• This website. The website does not store what you type. The enquiry form opens WhatsApp with your message filled in; nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp, and it then reaches us as a WhatsApp message. The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
• Facebook and Instagram enquiry forms. When you fill in one of our forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes us what you entered (for example your name, phone number, email, city, PIN code and your answers to our questions) and which advertisement and form you used.
• Customers, dealers and suppliers. Business and contact details, GST and other documents needed to open a dealer account, orders, payments and account statements.
• Staff using Kayson Connect. Name, work email, role and sign-in records.

• To reply to your enquiry, share prices and product details, and follow up on it.
• To appoint and manage dealers, and to take, deliver and bill orders.
• To keep the accounting and tax records the law requires.
• To measure which of our Facebook and Instagram advertisements bring genuine enquiries (see below).

We use your data because you gave it to us for these purposes, or because the law requires us to keep it. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us; this does not affect what we did before.

• Meta (Facebook and Instagram). When an enquiry that came from one of our Meta forms moves forward (for example, it becomes a customer), we tell Meta so it can measure our advertisements. We send only the details you entered on that Meta form, scrambled (hashed) before they leave our system, and a reference number for the enquiry. Meta keeps its own copy of what you entered on its form under Meta’s privacy policy.
• Our service providers. Supabase stores the data and Vercel runs the website and Kayson Connect, both in their Mumbai, India data centres. They act on our instructions only.
• Authorities, when the law requires it (for example, tax authorities).

We do not sell personal data.

• Enquiries that do not lead to an account: deleted 24 months after our last contact with you.
• Customer, dealer and supplier records: while the account is open, then for as long as accounting and tax laws require.
• Staff accounts: while the person works with us, then as the law requires.

Data is sent over encrypted connections. Inside Kayson Connect each person sees only what their role and area allow, and changes are recorded.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct or complete it;
• delete it, or stop using it where you withdraw consent;
• look into a complaint (see “Contact and complaints”);
• record someone to act for you if you die or cannot act yourself.

To ask us to delete your personal data:

• Email info@kaysonpaints.com with the subject “Delete my data”, from the email address you gave us if you can, or WhatsApp us on +91-8968500476.
• Give your name and the phone number or email you used, so we can find your records.

We reply within 30 days to confirm what we deleted. We keep only what the law requires us to keep (for example, invoices and payment records), and delete that too once the legal period ends.

If you came to us through a Facebook or Instagram form, Meta holds its own copy; you can manage it in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

Our website and forms are meant for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data about children.

When we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page.
